Buttons in MAX Insights dashboards allow users to create interactive elements for navigation, actions, or linking to external resources. Follow these steps to add and configure a button in your dashboard.
Step 1: Adding a Button Widget
- Open your dashboard in MAX Insights.
- Click the widget panel on the right-hand side.
- Under Layout, select Button and click to add it to your dashboard.
Step 2: Configure Button Settings
- Click on the added button to open its settings.
- In the Widget Setup panel, select Settings.
- Click Configure Button to open customization options.
Step 3: Customizing the Button
- Set Link Type – Choose whether the button links to a dashboard, external URL, or performs an action.
- Enter Display Name – Customize the button text.
- Dashboard Name or URL – Specify the target dashboard or external link.
- Enable "Open in New Tab" (Optional) – Open the link in a separate tab.
- Customize Appearance:
- Toggle Background Color and select a color.
- Adjust Text Size and Style under Override Text Settings.
Step 4: Saving and Using the Button
- Click Save to apply changes.
- Test the button by clicking it to ensure it performs the desired action.
